This week’s perfume rotation consisted of three designer fragrances. Two fragrances belong to the same perfume house and the same “The One” line. D&G The One line has one of the game-changer for the fragrance community, also it provided us with a few amazing flankers that could be called hidden gems. The other one is from another great perfume house that is often overlooked but produces some good fragrances. These were my three picks:

The first fragrance on this gorgeous rotation is

Kenneth Cole Black by Kenneth Cole. A woody aromatic fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with notes of  Mandarin Orange, Ginger, Water Mint, and Basil, in the middle we start to perceive Lotus, Incense, Nutmeg, Cedar, and Exotic Woods, at the dry down, we get Musk, Violet Leaf, Suede, and Amber. 

Pros: Good longevity +/- 8 hours. Projection of +/- 3 hours. It’s good for the office and closed environments. A Complement getter and it’s easily likable. It is inexpensive and easy to find.

Cons: N/A

Is Blind Buy worth it?

The second fragrance on this gorgeous rotation is

The One (EDT) by Dolce & Gabbana. A woody-spicy fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with notes of Grapefruit, Coriander and Basil, at the middle we start to perceive the notes of Ginger, Cardamom, and Orange Blossom, then settles at the dry down with the combination of Amber, Tobacco, and Cedar.

Pros: It’s good for office or closed environments. Easy grab for a date. It’s a compliment getter and an easily likable fragrance. It is inexpensive and easy to find. 

Cons: Below average longevity +/- 4 hours. Projection of +/- 1 ½ hour. Although it lacks longevity, how many hours do you need on a date???

The third fragrance on this gorgeous rotation is

The One Intense (EDP) by Dolce & Gabbana. This is a leather fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with notes of Cardamom, Neroli, and Cypress, in the middle we start to perceive the notes of Cashmeran, Benzoin, Neroli, and Clary Sage, then settles at the dry down with the combination of Leather, Neroli, Patchouli, and Labdanum.

Pros: It’s good for office or closed environments. Easy grab for a date. It’s a compliment getter and an easily likable fragrance. It is inexpensive. A hidden gem, due to the success of its predecessors.

Note: I would say that once this fragrance gets to dry down it’s like having a second skin, a second SEXY skin, and would last for +/-6 hours.

Cons: N/A.
