What is an overlook Fragrance?

An overlooked fragrance could be a fragrance that didn’t achieve the expectation of the crowd and is therefore forgotten or a fragrance that didn’t get the chance to prove its worth before being forgotten or cast aside. With no further ado these were my three picks:

Week 8 perfume rotation:

The first fragrance is

Individuel by Montblanc. An Oriental Woody fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with notes of Cinnamon, Lavender, Pineapple, Juniper Berries, Mint, Bergamot, Rosemary, Coriander, and Cardamom, in the middle you can perceive Orange Blossom, Violet, Geranium, and Jasmine, at the dry down, we get Raspberry, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Dark Chocolate, Musk, Amber, Patchouli, Vetiver, and Oakmoss.

This is a clean detergent-like raspberry scent that could be worn by a broad crowd from ages 17 to 99 years old. 

Pros:

Medium longevity +/- 6 hours. Projection of +/- 1 1/2 hours. A good office scent, compliment getter and it’s easily likable. It is inexpensive and easy to find.

Cons:

Could be perceived as a generic scent.

The second fragrance is

Unforgivable by Sean Jhon a “FiFi Award Fragrance Of The Year Men`s Luxe 2007” winner. An Aromatic Fougere fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with notes of Tangerine, Green Mandarin, Grapefruit, Sicilian Lemon, Bergamot, Basil, Birch Leaf, and Juniper, at the middle you will start to perceive Lavender, Clary Sage, iris then settles at the dry down with the combination of Rum, Cashmere Wood, Australian Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, and Amber.

This is a VERY SEXY scent that is geared towards a young and mature audience from 18 to 50 years old. This is for a man that likes attention only for him, he dresses well and has a nice watch and Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Pros:

Good longevity +/- 8 hours. Projection of +/- 3 hours. A SUPER compliment getter and it’s easily likable. It is a sexy office-worthy inexpensive and easy-to-find fragrance. Good for clubbing.

Cons: 

Could be perceived as a generic scent.

The third fragrance is

New York Musk Bond No 9 this is an Oriental-vanilla fragrance. At the opening of the fragrance, it starts with Black Currant and Grapefruit blossom, at the middle we start to perceive the notes of Green Lily, Nutmeg, and Osmanthus, then settle at the dry down with the combination of Musk, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vetiver.

New York Musk Bond No 9 is a woody and musky scent geared to an audience from 25 years old and up. This is for a confident man that has a sweet yet strong side. If you are wearing this scent YOU are getting attention from people around you. This man is an entrepreneur and he knows what he wants in life.

Pros:

Good longevity +/- 8 hours. Projection of +/- 1 1/2 hours. It’s a compliment getter. It is an overlooked fragrance.

Cons: 

It is a polarizing scent. It is an expensive fragrance if you buy it from retail stores.
